Our Story

Our Vision

At Concierge Medical, we believe that real healthcare goes far beyond occasional doctor visits. It’s about holistic, continuous care — tending to every aspect of your family’s well-being, from routine wellness check-ups to urgent care, and everything in between.

We built Concierge Medical on the conviction that being healthy should feel effortless: a seamless, integrated healthcare experience under one roof, custom-tailored to your lifestyle.

Founded by Dr Stephan Thaele and Nadia Thaele, our aim is to offer a modern medical service — deeply personal, entirely professional, and entirely Cape Town-centric — that lifts the burden of managing multiple appointments, different doctors, and fragmented records. Instead, we bring clarity, coordination and calm to your health journey.

Who Leads the Care

At the heart of Concierge Medical’s clinical services is Dr Kate Olmesdahl. As Managing Medical Officer of our parent group Advanced Global Medical Solutions (AGMS), Dr Kate oversees all aspects of our concierge-service delivery: from 24/7 doctor call-outs to tele-medicine consultations, preventive care and emergency response.

Dr Kate is deeply committed to patient-centred, evidence-based care, placing strong emphasis on open communication and collaborative decision-making. Her approach ensures that every patient feels heard, understood, and fully supported throughout their healthcare journey.

She completed her medical degree at the University of Cape Town in 2018, later gaining extensive experience in emergency medicine and critical care. In 2023, she earned her Diploma in Primary Emergency Care, further strengthening her expertise. Driven by a passion for excellence, she remains dedicated to continuous learning and the ongoing advancement of her clinical skills.

With a particular interest in home-based medical care, Dr Kate believes in delivering high-quality treatment within the comfort and familiarity of a patient’s own environment — a setting that often promotes better outcomes and greater peace of mind.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys running, hiking, and exploring a range of creative pursuits, reflecting her love for the outdoors and balanced living.
